Missouri
Missouri is the twenty-first largest state in the USA. Major Rivers include the Mississippi River and Missouri River.
Missouri was named for an Algonquian Indian word that means "river of the big canoes." State Nickname is "The Show Me State" and the Motto is "Salus populi suprema lex esto " - The welfare of the people shall be the supreme law.

Saint Louis
Founded in 1763 by French settlers, St. Louis became the "Gateway to the West". St. Louis is home to St. Louis Cardinals, Rams, and the Gateway Arch. It is rated as the best Sports City in the US by The Sporting News. The 1904 World's Fair was held in Forest Park in St. Louis. The city is also home to many Nobel Prize winners.
