Missouri is the twenty-first largest state in the USA.
Missouri was named for an Algonquian Indian word that means "river of the big canoes."
State Nickname is "The Show Me State" and the Motto is "Salus populi suprema lex esto" - The welfare of the people shall be the supreme law.

Saint Louis
Founded in 1763 by French settlers, St. Louis became the "Gateway to the West". St. Louis is home to St. Louis Cardinals, Rams, and the Gateway Arch. The 1904 World's Fair was held in Forest Park in St. Louis. The city won the "All America City Award" of 2008. It is also home to many Nobel Prize winners.

Westport
Westport Plaza is the heart of corporate offices in St. Louis county. It is home to many international corporations, more than 20 fine restaurants, and several five-star hotels.
